This appears to be a linen fabric with a pastoral scene of a family that has embroidery details added then the fabric has been framed and matted. The art depicted on the fabric is L' Inocence by Nicolas Lancret. This was a hobby in the late 19th century to do with fabric or handkerchiefs for gifts or home decor. The picture is in excellent condition for the age and is 9.5 x 9.5 inches. A wonderful piece of art from the past.
