Wearable Fiber Art by Tim Harding
Vintage Tim Harding full-length kimono style coat / wall hanging. The Artist / design team of Tim and Kathleen Harding are represented in several museum and celebrity collections including the Smithsonian Institution's Design Collection at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York. They are featured in the definitive book, Art to Wear, by Julie Schafler Dale, are winners of the 1994 Igedo Color Award from the Fashion Foundation of Japan and have been the subject of special showings at Bergdorf Goodman and Nieman Marcus. Tim Harding creates one of the world's best hand-cut, decoratively striped, one of a kind, wearable art in extraordinary color palettes. I rarely wore it, but thoroughly enjoyed wearing it on special, rare occasions! I also enjoyed owning and displaying it, but alas it is time for it to have a new home. Measurements: Please note that measurements are made when the garment is flat and are approximate. Coat: 63"H x 53"W Cuff to Cuff Two Pillows, same Harding Fabric: 20" xx 20" x7" sold separately
