"Ramgiri Napthol" Tie-Dye & Wax Batik Tapestry/Wall-hang/Bedspread/Tablecloth/
Outside rectangles are tie-dyed and the center is printed by Wax-Resist Batik. Batik is a labor intensive hand process using the Wax-Resist dyeing process. In this example:-The wax-resist pattern is applied to the cloth with a copper "Cap" stamp.Cloth is soaked in the first color dye.Wax is removed by soaking in boiling water.Process is repeated for the next color.Wash separately in cold water.
