Romeo Reyna estate artist yarn, old stock, vintage fiber art supply lot of multiple art pieces Romeo Reyna passed away in 2016 at the age of 80 in Lubbock, TX. His friend had yarn stored in the garage and once her situation has changed gave the collection to jetskijohnny. They met on the hot summer day when she volunteered to help him with the groceries he was carrying. Not all of his large tapestries survived until present day, the monumental in scale piece Reyna did for Lubbock Civic center did not. Jetskijohnnys remembers artist attending his art school class as a guest speaker and introducing students to textile arts while sharing his supplies with them. Jetskijohnnys only hopes his mom didn't throw away a weaven piece he did for that class. Reyna would collect his yarn from around the world, often times handmade in exotic locations, and yet he would share those and his expertise with highschool students. Lot of wool yarn pieces in vintage condition. Multi-colored: earth tone shades: maroon, grey, orange, beige, with multiple shades of undertones. Sold as artifact, might have concealed damage- dirt, tears or stains some pictured. Please see pictures for details.
